Low cost short term medical insurance to cover the gap
Short term medical, or temporary health insurance, is designed to provide catastrophic health coverage in the event of illness or injury. The majority of short term medical policies do not cover pre-existing conditions and are not recommended to be used for permanent health insurance. Traditionally, policies offer coverage lengths ranging from 30 days to 12 months depending upon the company.
